Dust pools

part of the Poetry Hivemind series

Today try to walk around your home backwards. Look for unheeded spots.

The dust pools
like water in
the corners of
the bookshelf and
I can't see
where it comes
from. Tomorrow, I
will sweep it
and put it
away in garbage
cans. Then it
will travel to
a land of
piles and dust
and trash and
it will pool
again, quietly, slowly.
