Regret

a triolet

If you were me, would you do what I’ve done?
My head can’t wrap around my actions yet.
Could you imagine having any fun,
if you were me? Would you do what I’ve done,
or what I will? I’m hiding from the sun
as ’round me my misdeeds, like gel, have set.
If you were me, would you do what I’ve done?
(My head can’t wrap around my actions yet.)
